Blotting Papers are a godsend for people like myself who struggle with oily skin. I’m a blotter, I blot several times daily – It’s so embarrassing!

When I started using blotting papers it made such a difference I can’t believe it took me so long to jump on the band wagon.

There are a lot of different types of blotting papers out there but which work the best and most importantly which ones give you the most bang for your buck?

Depending on the actual amount of oil your skin produces will determine which blotting papers you should use.

I like Clean and Clear Blotting papers – They are inexpensive,  they don’t leave any powder residue, and when used properly they don’t smudge your makeup!!

Simply take out a sheet and ‘press’ it onto your problem areas. Do not rub over your skin if you are wearing make-up because it will smudge your makeup.

I have many people tell me that they use tissue paper, toilet paper, sanitary toilet sheets and napkins. I will admit this may be all you have to do. I usually leave this as a last resort but try it for yourself!

We always recommend telling clients to grab a pack of blotting papers and have them on hand for a quick and easy touch up!
