We love the idea of adding a little more glam to your makeup. Play up your sexy eyes and get noticed!

1. Start by using an eye primer which prevents creasing and ensures your eyeshadow lasts all night. Apply with a small synthetic concealer brush.
2. Using a fluffy crease brush, apply a matte mid-tone brown to your crease. Using a soft steady hand, gently blend the colour, concentrating on the outer corner of the eye.

3. Line eyes with a black liner and use a pencil/liner brush (a q-tip will suffice in desperate times) to smudge the line and create the ‘smokiness.’ Concentrate the majority of the colour on the OUTSIDE of the eye!
4. Using a small, firm bristle brush, apply a deeper shade of shadow (black, brown, navy…depending on your desired drama) along your top and bottom lash line. Blend the outer edge up into the crease, focusing on the outer part of the eye.

5. Apply a shimmery mid-tone shadow to your eyelid using a large eyeshadow brush (think bronze, gold, silver…even purple)
6. Highlight in the inner corner of the eyes and under the eyebrow using a champagne colour and a small eyeshadow brush. This really helps brighten the eye.

7. Finally, add black liner using an angle brush (cream pot liners are really easy to use and versatile) and pile on mascara (we love Lancome Hypnose“)
We like pairing our smokey eyes with a glossy, nude lip….SMOKESHOW!!

Tips:
Try on a pair of falsies with your new smokey eye learn how to apply them yourself.
Blending is key when doing a dramatic look, Use a soft hand and light layers – you can always add more depth and drama.
